Accept Invite and Activate Employee Profile

Purpose

Activate employee access from an invite email, with the correct flow for users who already have a customer profile and those who do not.

Prerequisites

  • You received an invite email from a business owner or manager.
  • Invite token has not expired.
  • You know whether you already have a BUUK customer account.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the invite email and tap the invite link.
  2. If you do not have a BUUK account yet, complete the invite setup form with full name and password, then submit.
  3. If you already have a BUUK customer account, sign in first and open the invite accept page.
  4. On the accept page, choose Accept to attach the employee profile to your account, or Decline if the invite is not valid for you.
  5. After successful acceptance, open Profile and verify the active role is EMPLOYEE.
  6. If your account has only employee role and you need customer features, use Create customer profile from Profile management.

Decision points

  • If you are not authenticated on an existing account, mobile redirects you to login before invite acceptance.
  • If the link is invalid or expired, request a new invite from owner/manager instead of retrying old token.
  • If you accidentally accept with the wrong account, contact support or owner to correct role assignment.

Expected result

Your account includes an active employee profile for the invited business, and you can enter employee dashboard tabs.

Common mistakes

  • Creating a second account instead of accepting invite on the existing customer account.
  • Ignoring invalid-token errors and retrying the same expired link.
