Appointments Calendar Operations (Manager Mobile)

Purpose

Run appointments calendar operations directly from Manager Mobile workspace with role-appropriate permissions.

Prerequisites

  • Active MANAGER profile is selected for the target business.
  • Owner has granted permissions for this operational module.
  • Business registration is approved and module access is enabled.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Appointments tab and switch between Day, Week, and Month views based on planning range.
  2. Add manual entries with slot type set to busy, manual booking, break, or other when needed.
  3. Filter calendar by status and employee to isolate operational queues and staffing conflicts.
  4. Check occupancy indicator and time-off palm icon/count in the header before confirming changes.
  5. Open appointment details and apply approve, reject, or update actions with notes when required.

Decision points

  • If occupancy is near limit, move low-priority manual blocks before accepting new requests.
  • If employee is marked as on leave, reassign or reschedule instead of force-confirming slot usage.
  • If action requires subscription billing changes or company active/deactive status, escalate to the Owner workflow.

Expected result

Calendar remains accurate across statuses, manual blocks, and employee availability signals. Manager role can complete this workflow within manager permissions and escalate owner-only actions.

Common mistakes

  • Using wrong manual slot type and confusing reporting totals.
  • Approving requests without checking leave indicator and occupancy state.
  • Trying to execute owner-only billing or company status actions instead of escalating to Owner.
