- Attach break windows to each shift template and assign templates to selected staff.
- Record annual leave or other absence types to block availability for affected staff.
- Update business-level working hours when opening windows change.
- Verify resulting capacity in appointments calendar before publishing major schedule edits.

- If absence conflicts with confirmed bookings, reschedule or reassign before publishing leave block.
