Step-by-step
- Open Rules and set automatic booking approval based on current operational policy.
- Configure automatic override approval for staff absence overrides when applicable.
- Enable or disable required phone number for booking requests.
- Set minimum booking notice between 1 and 24 hours to control lead time.
- Open Integrations and use Import from calendar to select calendars, events, and staff mapping.
Decision points
- If same-day demand is high, reduce minimum notice only when staff capacity can absorb it.
- If imported events are noisy, narrow calendar/event selection before final mapping.
Expected result
Automation rules are aligned with policy and external calendar blocks are imported to reduce double booking. Owner role can complete this workflow end-to-end and continue to owner-only controls when needed.
