Manage Account, Preferences, and Support
Purpose
Control account data, notification behavior, legal/privacy options, and support requests from the Profile area.
Prerequisites
- Signed in as
CUSTOMER. - Access to email and phone if you plan to update contact details.
Step-by-step
- Open Profile tab and enter Account details to update photo, name, phone, and email.
- If you change email, complete verification again before relying on the new address.
- Open Address information and save fallback address data used when precise GPS context is unavailable.
- Review Reputation progress and required milestones for higher customer trust score.
- Open Notification settings and configure channels (push/email), types, and reminder timing.
- Keep or disable Promotions and offers notifications based on whether you want campaign promo messages from businesses.
- Open Preferences to set language, theme, and calendar display hours.
- Open Help & support to read FAQ, submit support requests, and track status changes via notifications.
- Review legal items (Privacy, Terms, app info), then use logout options for current device or all sessions.
- In Account danger zone, use account deletion when needed. Personal identifiers are anonymized immediately and legally required records are retained only for statutory periods.
Decision points
- If email was changed, verification is mandatory before the new address is treated as active.
- If you do not want promo pushes/emails, disable promotions type or channel in notification settings.
- If you must erase account data for GDPR reasons, use delete account instead of only logging out.
Expected result
Your profile, privacy controls, and communication preferences match your real usage and compliance needs.
Common mistakes
- Updating email and forgetting the re-verification step.
- Assuming logout deletes account data; GDPR erasure requires explicit delete account action.
