Rules, Notifications, and Preferences (Manager Web)
Purpose
Run rules, notifications, and preferences directly from Manager Web workspace with role-appropriate permissions.
Prerequisites
- Active MANAGER profile is selected for the target business.
- Owner has granted permissions for this operational module.
- Business registration is approved and module access is enabled.
Step-by-step
- Open Rules settings and configure automatic booking approval policy.
- Set automatic override approval for staff schedule overrides if your process requires it.
- Enable require phone number for bookings when contact capture is mandatory.
- Set minimum booking notice from 1 to 24 hours according to capacity planning.
- Review notification and preference settings for theme, language, and reminder behavior.
Decision points
- If no-show risk rises, increase minimum notice and keep reminders enabled.
- If notification volume is high, tune promotional categories without disabling critical booking events.
- If action requires subscription billing changes or company active/deactive status, escalate to the Owner workflow.
Expected result
Rules and preference settings reflect policy, risk tolerance, and communication standards. Manager role can complete this workflow within manager permissions and escalate owner-only actions.
Common mistakes
- Disabling key booking notifications while troubleshooting noise.
- Setting minimum notice too low for available staffing model.
- Trying to execute owner-only billing or company status actions instead of escalating to Owner.
