Manage Company Status (Owner Web)

Purpose

Control company active state, including deactivate/reactivate actions reserved for owner role.

Prerequisites

  • Active owner profile with billing/company management permissions.
  • Business registration and subscription are already active.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Company settings from owner web workspace.
  2. Review current company status and public visibility impact notes.
  3. Use deactivate action when business must be temporarily removed from public discovery.
  4. Confirm warning prompts and acknowledge booking visibility consequences.
  5. Use reactivate action later and verify return to public state after sync.

Decision points

  • If there are future bookings, communicate customer/staff impact before deactivation.
  • If manager requests status change, escalate to owner workflow because manager lacks permission.

Expected result

Company status changes are applied intentionally and only through owner-authorized actions.

Common mistakes

  • Deactivating company without internal communication plan.
  • Expecting manager role to perform owner-only status controls.
